Broken Branches Reviews

"I was surprised at the depth of feelings and emotions, as well as history in this book. It was a reunion story, but a reunion story that encompassed the lives of not just the heroine and hero, but there respective families, too. It's seldom you see such an in-depth look at the pasts of the H/H and how one tragic day changed the trajectory of their lives for over a decade in a romance. The author is to be praised for her expert handling of age-old secrets, a family feud, and dysfunctional family members who split up the heroine and hero when they were in love. There is a lot of baggage to get past in this story, and the author does it with a deft hand. I also loved the inclusion of a rebellious teenage girl--extremely well-done and real to life depiction. I could almost touch the character and hear her talk. This is an engrossing romance with expertly drawn characters--don't miss reading it!"

"Author Fredette has conceived a simple story populated with likeable and honest characters with logical and realistic goals, compelling motivation, facing insurmountable conflict. The formula may seem simple, however to carry it off with effortless ease is a task she is clearly up to. Well done!!"

"Broken Branches is a heartwarming addition to the Redford Falls series — a sweet, small-town second chance romance between Tyler Kringle and Maripier Nadeau. This story is short, tender, and full of emotion, focusing on reconnection and healing. The cozy small-town setting, filled with caring neighbors and familiar faces, adds warmth to the story. I especially loved how naturally Maripier and Tyler found their rhythm again and how the community welcomed her back after so long. If you love sweet, clean romances with a heartfelt reunion and small-town charm, Broken Branches is definitely worth reading."
